An interview series where local Austin musicians showcase their talent and inspirations by playing an original song and a cover song. There were two productions, one of Redbud and one of Jackie Venson, published on YouTube. The idea came to me because I was putting together a playlist of songs that inspire my music and thought how lovely it would be if I could hear what inspires my favorite musicians, in their voices!
All the letters and background images were sourced from magazines and books at Austin Creative Reuse, they were individually cut and scanned and animated in Adobe After Effects. I recorded, mixed, and mastered the audio in ProTools. I edited and colorized in Adobe Premiere. I designed YouTube thumbnails in Adobe Photoshop.
